Barbara is the executive director of the “Continuing Care At Home” (CCAH) program, Sun Health at Home.
Ms. Mason was the territory manager for Mobilex USA, the oldest and largest mobile diagnostic service provider in the United States, serving more than 6,000 health facilities, including numerous long-term care centers. She managed more than 162 accounts across Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky and earned several awards for exceeding sales goals and retaining customers.
Other work experience include serving as the program manager of a criminal justice and men’s residential chemical dependency unit; a clinic manager for Health One Occupational Medicine, as well as a medical practice manager for a variety of specialties including plastic surgery, podiatry and orthopedics.
In addition, the Pittsburg native was a professional dancer and singer for several years in New York and London, where she performed in multiple musical-theater productions.
Radha Ramamrutham, MD
Dr. Ramamrutham is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and geriatric medicine, who serves as the medical director of Sun Health at Home. Her role includes determining applicants’ medical eligibility for the program.
Dr. Ram, as she’s often called, graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College, in New Delhi, India, and she worked as a doctor in New Delhi for several years before moving to the U.S. with her son in the 1990s.
She is very proud of her son, now a second-year radiology resident at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
Karlene Rood, RN
Karlene is Sun Health at Home’s Personal Wellness Coordinator. She received her undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University and her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. She has spent most of her 34-year career in direct care and has a diverse background in the emergency department, home health, hemodialysis, psychiatric/chemical dependency and ambulatory surgery.
Karlene is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She loves animals and is a volunteer at Fallen Feathers and 4 Paws.
Rachel has worked at Sun Health for over 7 years, where she worked in customer service, administration and most recently human resources. In 2017, she was a finalist for Sun Health’s Emerging Leader Award in recognition of her successes at the company.
Rachel earned her bachelor’s in communications from Arizona State University where she did her research project on media coverage and was chosen to represent the University at an out of state conference. She was also a public speaking mentor in the school’s communications lab.
Rachel is a Massachusetts native who enjoys traveling the world. Her favorite places include Australia, Hawaii and New England.
Joshua draws on his 15-plus years as a personal financial advisor to explain the benefits of Sun Health at Home to prospective members and help them choose the best option. He also holds several financial licenses, including Series 7, 24, 66, 51, and Life and Health. Joshua has a bachelor’s in business administration/transportation logistics from the University of Arkansas.
The New Orleans native who grew up in Sedona, Arizona enjoys camping, hiking and rooting for the Arizona Cardinals
Nicole puts her strong planning, organizational, technical, and communication skills to work as our executive administrative assistant.
The Riverside, California native has worked a variety of interesting jobs including senior administrator for a career coaching firm based in Dublin, Ireland. Nicole graduated with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and criminology from Arizona State University.
She enjoys hiking, camping, crafts and traveling.
